Be Greener for Less Than $500!

As one who indulges in anything technology and the myriad of applications within the professional business world, I find myself, due to just the nature of my personality, discovering new ways to do the same job... with better end results.

Today I was enlightened by a child's story. This story was of Harold and his purple crayon.

WAIT... Before you go!

I know, your time is busy and more than likely you could care less about Harold, however I do have a more "grown-up" point here. You see Harold only had a purple crayon, but he was able to create an entire adventure with that one crayon.

I bring this up as I follow a philosophy that with age, most of us tend to lose our ability to create outside-the-box effectively. We get caught up in all the rules like staying inside the lines and the most obvious rule... follow the rules.

I simply ask: "What fun is that?" (Frankly I sometimes think I got into marketing to let the little kid in me run loose with mousepads and flashdrives in my hands... not advisable in an office setting mind you!)

So "...how can I be greener for less than $500!?" you ask?

Simple... Adobe Acrobat Professional. I usually do not endorse a product, but this one has grown to greatness. And it only costs $449 USD! With this one product you should be able to save at least one tree this year utilizing the power of interactivity and creative diversity wrapped into this easy to use 'going green' business tool.

I guess I really wanted to tell you about it as I have been such a PDF King lately.

Part of my job entails a substancial amount of PDF generation. From papers with forms that can be filled in - to PDF Portfolios that will present and display multiple PDF documents as a group (new to Acrobat Pro 9).

So now you know what I use instead of my purple crayon. :)
